Bernard Perrut a été poursuivi pour l'utilisation d'une partie de son indemnité représentative de frais de mandat (IRFM) à des fins considérées comme personnelles. Après une condamnation en première instance en mai 2024, la cour d'appel l'a condamné le 10 octobre 2025 à six mois d'emprisonnement avec sursis pour détournement de fonds publics et à cinq ans d'inéligibilité avec sursis.
