Born in Denmark and capped by Turkey, Emre Mor rose to prominence at Dortmund before repeated disciplinary problems at Celta Vigo in 2018 and 2019. In 2026 a social-media post about Galatasaray drew criticism from Fenerbahçe fans, and an earring delayed his substitution for NEC, frustrating his manager. 2018: late arrival at training and temporary exclusion

At Celta Vigo Mor arrived late for training before a match against Sevilla. Coach Juan Carlos Unzué left him out of several squads and made him train separately. Mor later apologised publicly and briefly returned to the team.
