2019: Ofcom complaints about advances towards Tommy Fury

On Love Island, Higgins repeatedly tried to kiss contestant Tommy Fury as he moved away. Ofcom received 726 complaints concerning the episode, 709 of which related to her conduct. After reviewing the context, the broadcasting regulator decided not to open an investigation.
