Continuing posthumous controversy over identity of killer

No legal proceedings

Books, documentaries and former associates have challenged the conventional account attributing the death to Sid Vicious. Theories have implicated dealer and actor Rockets Redglare or a third party attempting to steal money; Malcolm McLaren publicly maintained that Vicious was innocent.
