Lifetime injunction protecting her new identity and whereabouts

Civil / administrative proceedings

Shortly before her release, Carr first obtained an interim injunction preventing the media from revealing her new identity and contact details. In February 2005, the High Court made the protection indefinite and applicable to anyone with knowledge of the injunction because of credible risks to her life, physical safety and psychological health.
