2026: 'Trap do Gago' dispute — first lawsuit withdrawn, new R$100,000 action still pending

Civil / administrative proceedings

Composer Juvenal Ungarelli brought a claim against Whindersson Nunes in May 2026, alleging breach of an agreement relating to the song 'Trap do Gago' and seeking approximately 110,000 reais. Nunes's defence maintained that the agreement had been fully honoured and that the claimant had withdrawn the first action. On 7 July, however, Ungarelli filed new proceedings based on the same contractual relationship, seeking a penalty of 100,000 reais; in early September, he was still attempting to serve Nunes.

2023–2024: Fabricated screenshots suggesting relationship with Jéssica Canedo; investigation finds Whindersson did not write messages

Investigation — against a third party

Protagonist not prosecuted — these proceedings are not counted in their formal charges or convictions.

Screenshots purporting to show a romantic conversation between Whindersson Nunes and Jéssica Canedo were circulated by social media pages and prompted a wave of attacks. Nunes publicly denied exchanging the messages. Following Jéssica's death, Minas Gerais Civil Police investigated and concluded that she had herself created fake profiles and fabricated conversations attributed to the comedian.

2022: Eviction order over rent arrears on property, Whindersson claims never to have lived there

Civil / administrative proceedings

The TJ-SP ordered Whindersson Nunes's eviction from a rented property and payment of claimed rent, penalties and charges. The ruling noted that he had not contested the proceedings, giving rise to a presumption that the alleged facts were true, particularly late payment and an issue concerning air conditioners.
